Why This Training Is Different

This training is designed to help you remember how to play.

Music isn’t something we need to force or figure out from scratch - it’s something most of us already understand at a basic level. The Current offers a structured approach to Native American-style flute focused on tone, phrasing, refined technique, structured exercises, listening, improvisation, and musical flow.

Through clear and practical guidance, you’ll develop breath control, finger independence, expressive playing, and a relaxed relationship with the instrument - so practice feels natural, grounded, and musical from the beginning.

Your guide

Welcome to The Current! My name is Bruno, and I’m excited to guide you through the process of connection with such an amazing instrument.

Music isn’t something we need to force or figure out from scratch - it’s something most of us already know at a basic level. My purpose here is to offer the structure I wish I had when I started learning this instrument, so you can give yourself permission to reconnect with that.

I’ve been studying music and working professionally in studio and live settings for many years, both as a producer and instrumentalist. I’ve also developed academic courses, music platforms, and worked in ceremonial contexts. So this approach comes from a wide range of experience.

Because of that, my way of learning and teaching comes from a different place: one that focuses on listening, phrasing, and how sound actually functions in real musical contexts.

Here you’ll find high-quality and straight-to-the-point material. You’ll also have access to the exercises in a library format, so you can revisit techniques anytime without needing to go through full explanations.
